maze

“Exhibited in South London, this personal project expresses my interest in spatial and experience design and investigates how spaces can control participants, invite for exploration but also set physical boundaries. The design is based on layered fabric forming a maze, encased by black fabric that resembles a shell and separates the inside from the outside. To enter, the participant must crouch – immediately displaying that the maze is in control. As they get deeper, the walkways get narrower, darker and more intimidating, challenging the participant to make a conscious decision wether they agree to follow the structure or not.”
